Excise raids

MARGHERITA, May 7: Tinsukia Excise, Margherita Excise and Digboi Excise Circle along with police conducted a joint drive on Saturday at Kujupather and 2 no. Kujupather Sonowal Gaon under Bordumsa Police Station, where four cases were detected and three persons were arrested. The seizure items are 700 litres fermented wash, four D/A and 5 litres I/D. A case has been registered under 53(1) A and D of Assam Excise Act 2000.
