Expedite, maintain work quality: Mein

Itanagar, May 15: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has directed the executing agencies of various ongoing projects at Namsai, his home constituency, to expedite the works while maintaining quality and time schedule.

During an inspection spree of those development projects on Monday, Mein said these projects are significant as this new district lacks required infrastructure and advised them to incorporate beautification and landscaping of the premises, an official release stated on Tuesday.

Accompanied by Planning and Personnel Parliamentary Secretary Chau Zingnu Namchoom besides engineers and officers, Mein inspected multi-sports building, multi-purpose cultural hall, officers’ residential complex, bridge over river Jengthu and internal roads.
