Explosion hits German football team's bus

Berlin, April 12 :  A bomb explosion hit the bus carrying German football team Borussia Dortmund to a Champions League match on Tuesday, the club said in a tweet.
Dortmund defender and Spain intertiol Marc Bartra was injured and in hospital, Xinhua news agency reported.
Explosions hit the team bus of Borussia Dortmund ahead of its first game of UEFA Champions League quarter-fil against AS Moco on Tuesday evening.
The explosion triggered by three explosive subjects happened in the district Hoechsten of the western German city of Dortmund. 
The match will be put off until 6:45 p.m. local time on Wednesday.
The blasts revived memories of Islamist militant attacks in Paris in November 2015 whose targets included a stadium where France were playing Germany in a soccer friendly.
Security is among the issues at the heart of Germany's parliamentary election on Sept. 24, a tight battle in which Merkel is running for a fourth term.
In December, a Tunisian man killed 12 people when he ploughed a truck through a Berlin Christmas market.  IANS
