Extempore speech competition at DHSK College

DIBRUGARH, Oct 28: An inter- departmental multilingual extempore speech competition was organized by the Academy of Performing Arts and Creative Writings at DHSK College here on Thursday. The meeting was presided over by Vice Principal of DHSK College (Academic) Kalpa Sengupta Baruah and was attended by DHSK Principal Dr Sasikanta Saikia besides faculty members of different departments and more than 100 students of the college.  

Addressing the meeting, Dr Saikia encouraged the initiative of the Academy of Performing Arts and Creative Writings for organizing the programme.  A competition was also held in which 30 participants took part. The participants who secured the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the competition are Anup Jyoti Das, Achyuta Mugdha Bokul and Bhadrawati Dutta, respectively.
