Around 460 patients got their eyes checked free of cost in the camp. Among them, 166 persons were found to be cataract-affected patients who will be operated at Sri Sankerdev Netralaya, Guwahati by the organizers later. The camp was iugurated in the morning by Diganta Kumar Choudhury, Superintendent of Police, Biswath district, while Additiol Deputy Commissioner of Biswath, Parvej Amin, president of Lions’ Club of Guwahati City, Sachin Berasia, businessman Srilal Agrawal, Dilip Agrawal, Jay Kumar Gowenka, Pankaj Dassani, Ashis Jain, Sanjay Jain, among others, were present on the occasion.
