Eye check-up camp in Silchar

SILCHAR, June 13: Tarapur Pioneer Sanskritik Sangstha and Choudhury Eye Clinic have jointly organized a free eye check-up medical camp under the aegis of Red Cross Society, Silchar. The camp was organized at the premises of Number 335 Tarapur Paathshala located at Manipuri Basti, on June 12. A total number of 165 patients were examined, out of which 22 cases of cataract have been detected. The examition was carried by three eye-specialists Dr. H.K. Choudhury, Dr. Himadri Choudhury and Dr. Haimanti Choudhury. It has been informed that these 22 patients will be operated free of cost on June 22 and June 25. Among others who were present on the camp, on behalf of Tarapur Pioneer Sanskritik Sangstha, include Ganesh ndi, Soumitra Choudhury, Gautam ndi, Debdulal Malakar, Bikram Saha, Karthik Saha, Man Chanda and Bappi Saha.
