Faat Bihu celebration concludes

Lakhimpur, May 9: Faat Bihu celebration at Dhakuakha Mohghuli Chapori ended on Sunday. The programme started on May 6 during which various competitive events like Mukoli Bihu, Jeng Bihu, Toka Bihu, Mohila Bihu, gamosa competition were held. Irrespective of caste and religion, thousands of people were seen during these three days enjoying the Bihu celebration with enthusiasm. Faat bihu is celebrated every year by the people with the same spirit and enthusiasm in the month of Bohag at Dhakuakha. It is assumed to be one of the purest forms of Bohag Bihu celebration in Assam.
