Facebook to impart safety tips

GUWAHATI, May 6: Facebook India, as a part of its ‘Stay Safe Program’, has set a target of imparting lessons in internet safety to over 4,000 school children from class 7-12 in Guwahati within this month.

The social media giant, in collaboration with Learning Links Foundation, has so far educated at least 1,300 students across Assam in the month of April. The campaign has been successfully conducted in many schools in the city. As part of the campaign, safety tips will be posted regularly on their website for the students.
