Faculty HS School in final at Inter School Cricket Tournament

GUWAHATI: Faculty HS School entered into the final of the 13th All Assam Mrigen Sarma Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament defeating Shrimanta Shankar Academy by 79 runs in the first semi final held at the Latasil ground here today.

Elected to bat, Faculty scored 216-7 in 30 overs. Sushant P Das (68) scored half century while Dibyanan Gogoi contributed 41 runs on the board.

Later Navanil Kumar Borah picked up 6-37 and restricted Shrimanata Shankar Academy’s innings to 137. Brief scores: Faculty 216/7 (30 Overs), Sushant P Das 68, Dibyanan Gogoi 41, Manash P.
