Failed bid miscreants to loot ATM, Itanagar

ITANAGAR: In yet another incident of ATM loot, unidentified miscreants unsuccessfully tried to rob cash from various ATMs in Capital Complex in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday by breaking open the cash vending machines.

While the money was safe, altogether three automated teller machines (ATMs) suffered substantial damage at Naharlagun among which one belonged to the Indian Overseas Bank and the other two belonged to the State Bank of India (SBI).

At Nirjuli, the miscreants damaged two SBI ATMs. Informing that efforts are being made to nab the culprits, the Naharlagun PS OC said that cases against the unidentified miscreants have already bee registered in both the police stations and investigations on.
