Fake currency racket busted, 2 arrested in Mangaldai

MANGALDAI: A team of Mangaldai Police led by in-charge of Town Branch, Sub-Inspector Prem Ankur Hazarika and Sub-Inspector Krishna Kanta Laskar on Sunday night busted a racket of fake Indian currency notes and arrested two persons. The arrested accused persons are Inamul Hoque (20), son of Siddique Ali of village Chalanikuchi and Rofique Ali (20), son of Golam Rahman of village Kehutoli, both under Dhula Police Station. One laptop, one printer, one lamination machine, one CPU and 46 fake Rs 100 notes were recovered from their possession. In this connection, a case has been registered at the Police Station vide case number 1047/18 under section 489(B)/489(C) of Indian Penal Code.
