Fans watch Peru train as World Cup draws closer

Schruns (Austria), June 6: Fans of the Peru national football team gathered on Wednesday to watch their favourite players take part in drills at a training camp here. Media crews also gathered to get a glimpse of Peru’s squad getting a run out just nine days before its first encounter at the World Cup against Denmark, reports Efe. Captain Paolo Guerrero, who recently returned to the squad’s pre-tournament preparation when a drugs-related ban against him was overturned, took centrestage in the session, which was overseen by head coach Ricardo Gareca.
