Farewell ceremony

Tezpur, May 2: A farewell ceremony in honour of Devendar Suman, DFO, who has been transferred to Jorhat, was held on Wednesday at the Sonitpur Forest West division premises. The programme was chaired by Nityananda Ojha, ACF, Sonitpur Forest West division, Tezpur. DFO, Suman while delivering her farewell speech in presence of Debabrata Gogoi, Range Officer, senior journalist Nathmal Tibrewala, social worker Dip Kumar Kalita and others, appreciated all officers and staff of the department for the unceasing support provided during her tenure at Sonitpur. She further said that devotion to duty was the best form of prayer. Recently, the district administration, Sonitpur acknowledged and rewarded her department with the prestigious Civil Services award.
