Farmer shot dead

TANGLA, April 29: Sensation prevailed in the area following the killing of one Afazzudin Ahmed (45). Ahmed was shot dead by suspected ULFA (I) rebels on night of Tuesday last. The person is a resident of Barpukri village under Kalaqigaon PS. Though paramilitary forces have set up temporary camps in remote villages for the security of common people such killing of common people has revealed loopholes in the security set up.
