FC Pune City defender Ravan suspended for two ISL matches

Pune, Nov 3: FC Pune City defender Ravan Dharmaraj has been suspended for two matches after being found guilty of 'misconduct against opponents or persons other than match officials' in the ongoing edition of the ISL under the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Discipliry Code Article 49 'D'. Ravan was punished for his violent conduct in the home match against Cheniyin FC on October 23, where he stomped striker Dudu Omagbemi's leg. Ravan's action was reviewed under the AIFF Discipliry Code's retrospective ban, which authorises the tiol Federation Discipliry Committee to sanction serious infringements that escaped the match officials' attention.
