Female rhino found dead

GAON (HAIBORGAON), May 23: A female rhino died under mysterious conditions on Sunday night at the Burhachapari Sanctuary in gaon district. According to sources, the female rhino along with a calf was brought from Kaziranga tiol Park to the sanctuary on March 31 by forest officials and kept at Buma area near Kashadhara power fencing of the sanctuary. The sources added that the rhino had been suffering from some unidentified disease for the past few days.
