Ferrer bows out of ASB Classic

Auckland, Jan 11: Spanish David Ferrer bowed out of the ASB Classic tennis tourment after going down to Dutchman Robin Haase in the second round here on Wednesday.

Hasse defeated Ferrer 2-6, 6-4, 7- 6 (4) in two hours in their first match against each other, reports Efe.

In other match, Spain's Feliciano Lopez had to retire due to the back problem.

Lopez retired due to back problem just before his match against Frenchman Jeremy Chardy, who advanced to the next round. IANS
