Fil photo electoral rolls released

SHILLONG, Jan 11: The Fil Photo Electoral Roll for the Assembly constituencies of 1- rtiang Assembly constituency, 2-Jowai Assembly constituency, 3- Raliang Assembly constituency, 4- Mowkaiaw Assembly constituency and 7- Amlarem Assembly constituency prepared with January 1, 2016 as the qualifying date  was released today in the conference room of DC Office in Jowai.

A meeting was held where S.C. Laloo distributed the fil photo electoral rolls to the representatives of recognized political parties.

The District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills district, has also informed that the list of amended Draft Photo Electoral Roll for the Assembly Constituency of 13-Mawryngkneng (ST), 14-Pynthorumkhrah (GEN), 15-Mawlai (ST), 16-East Shillong (ST), 17-North Shillong (ST), 18-West Shillong (GEN), 19-South Shillong (GEN), 20-Mylliem (ST), 21-Nongthymmai (ST), 22-Nongkrem (ST), 23-Sohiong (ST), 24-Mawphlang (ST), 25-Mawsynram (ST), 27-Pynursla (ST) and 29-Mawkynrew (ST) have been prepared with January 1, 2016. Copies of the list of amendments have been published and available for inspection at the DC’s office and at the office of respective Block Development Officers.
