Financial aid to Vas, NGOs, SHGs

Shillong, May 1: The Planning Officer, East Jaintia Hills District has informed that proposals are re-invited from voluntary agencies, non-Governmental organizations, self help groups hailing from East Jaintia Hills district, Khliehriat for consideration of financial assistance, grant in-aid from the Voluntary Action Fund (VAF) of Planning Department, Government  of Meghalaya in accordance with the approved guidelines.

Assistance under the scheme included for short term training programme and short term workshops/ seminars of socio economic importance.

The formats/application forms for submission of proposals can be obtained from the office of the District Planning Officer, East Jaintia Hills district, Khliehriat. This has been stated in a press release.
