Fincial aid distributed to gaon panchayats

DEMOW, March 2: Jorhat MP, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa has sanctioned money through his Member of Parliament Area Development Fund (MPADF) for all the gaon panchayats of Thowra constituency as well as for the Demow and Rajabari Sankardev Sishu Niketan.

The fincial aid has been sanctioned for setting up cultural centres in all the gaon panchayats of Thowra constituency. For Borbam Gaon Panchayat and for Bakhor Bege Gaon Panchayat an amount of Rs 6,00,000 has been sanctioned, for Pachim Panidehing Panchayat an amount of Rs 8,00,000 has been sanctioned and for Demow Sankardev Sishu Niketan and Rajabari Sankardev Sishu Niketan an amount of Rs 2,00,000 has been sanctioned. The fincial aid distribution programme was held from February 29 to March 2.  Along with this, solar lights were distributed to all the gaon panchayats of Thowra constituency.
