Fincial aid to Shahil

GUWAHATI, Aug 4: The State Level Advisory Committee (SLAC) for students & Youth Welfare has granted Rs fifty thousand to young chess prodigy Shahil Dey for his participation in the Asian Youth Championship.  Sahil is currently representing India in the Asian Youth Chess Championship (under 8 category) which is in progress at South Korea. The Commonwealth Chess Champion has earned his place in the Indian team by winning the tiol U-7 championship held last year in Kolkata.
