FIR lodged against BDO of yeralga

BILASIPARA, April 20: On the allegation of large-scale corruption in digging pond, an FIR was lodged by Zulfikar Ali Bhuttu  against the BDO, yeralga and four others  in the Bilasipara Police Station and the case has been registered u/s120( B), 420/409 IPC.

The four accused persons are BDO of yeralga Block, Saiful Islam, JE of the block, Baniz Ali Khan, president of yeralga GP, and GP secretary Moslem Uddin. The government had sanctioned digging of seven ponds at a cost of Rs 5 lakh each. The accused persons, without digging fresh ponds, defalcated the sanctioned amount by showing old ponds.
