FIR lodged against child molester

SHILLONG, May 15: An FIR was lodged on 14 May at Pynursla Police Station by Archibald S Kharpuri, Secretary of Shillong Pastorate Committee, All Saints Cathedral, Shillong, against M. Kephrin Kharlatang, a teacher of CNI L.P. School, Mawlyngnong who allegedly molested and attempted to rape a 6-year-old girl student of the school on March 22. The arrested accused confessed to the crime and stated that he had also committed the same act prior to this to some other students of the same school.
