Fire extinguishing skills displayed to NCC cadets, students

Dibrugarh,  Jan 6: Fire brigade technicians displayed fire extinguishing skills to the NCC cadets at the ongoing 10 Assam Battalion Camp held here at DHSK College. Fire brigade technicians displayed fire extinguishing skills to the NCC cadets as well students of the college. The cadets as well as the students were informed regarding necessary precautiory and safety measures, to be taken during tural disaster or accidents. The resource persons imparted training to the cadets on the use of fire extinguisher, using rope to climb down from burning buildings and other techniques. A live demonstration was performed to display fire extinguishing skills. Dr. SK Saikia, Principal of DHSK College, encouraged the cadets as well as the students to learn these necessary safety skills. Dr Saikia also briefed the students regarding making preparations to qualify for tiol Defense Academy situated at gpur. Group Commander Brigadier Sanjeev Manchanda was also present.
