DIBRUGARH, APRIL 4: The inhabitants of South Amolapatty area under Amolapatty police station heaved a sigh of relief following dousing of a devastating fire that occurred in the vicinity of a petrol pump of Indian oil Corporation on Friday night on time. One bus (registration no: AS-06AC 2669) and a dumper (No AS 06 0222) which were parked in the campus of the petrol pump were razed to ashes. The fire tenders of Dibrugarh Fire Service rushed to the site and brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. According to the fire service station here, the fire might have turned into an inferno if it had not been doused on time.
