First Indo-Chi Conclave begins at IIM Shillong

SHILLONG, Dec 10: The Indo-Sino Conclave held in collaboration with the Institute of Chinese Studies was flagged of today at IIM Shillong. The key note presentation was delivered by Ex Ambassador and former diplomat Ra. The former diplomat in his speech shared his real life experiences about his cultural conventions in different countries. He highlighted how Chi has changed from tightly restricted country in 1960s to an open country post-independence. He also spoke on the impotence of understanding the cultures and socio-economic aspects of a country. Professor Alka Acharya, Director of the Institute of Chinese Studies, New Delhi spoke how industries and businesses are affected in Chi because of being state-owned in ture.
