Five candidates file nomition for gaon civic polls

gaon, January 27: Five candidates of Congress and BJP filed their nomition papers on Tuesday. A total of six nomition papers have been filed till date for the forthcoming municipality election which will be held on February 9. Before one day of the last date for submission of nomitions, for the 26 wards only six candidates submitted its nomitions.  According to party sources there was delay in declaration of the list of the candidates by the district high command of the both the Congress and BJP On the other hand, the AGP declared the list of the candidates on Tuesday. The president of the selection committee, Khagen Bora stated that out of 26 wards AGP would contest in 20 wards. The mes of the AGP candidates are Dulal Pal, Jayanta Sarker, Mril Gayan, Murtaja Ahmed, Sarumai  Bora, Sanjib Das, Indu Bora, Rupalee Bora, Renu Bordoloi, Radhike Das Kushal Bora, Biren Das, Ayantika Debth, Gubinda Pasi Rinkurani Kar Bhawel, Jari Begam, Sampa Baisb, Manu Datta Saikia, Hiranya Saikia, Mamoni Saikia, and Jiban Chandra Datta.
