Five hand gredes recovered at Rajagaon

BATADRAVA, March 4:  In a big blow to Adivasi Tiger Force (ATF) , a rebel outfit of Assam, the Raha police along with CRPF recovered five hand gredes from Rajagaon under Kochuwa Police Station, gaon on Friday night.

The team led by Yashobonto th, Officer in-charge of Raha Police Station, recovered the gredes based on information provided by bbed linkmen mely Dipak Mandal, Dipen Sarkar and Nirmal Debrai in connection with case no 43/17 , U/S 121/122/384 I.P.C read with Section 25 l(A)/ 1 BC arms act and 17/18/18(A)/18(B)/20 of UAP act.

“We had earlier on February 6 night launched a special operation against the ATF rebel outfit and arrested six Adivasi rebels, including the district commander Milan Bhuyan, with a huge cache of arms. In further progress of this Case, we arrested one Dipak Mandal of 1 no. Barunguri of Kochuwa, linkman of ATF, on March 1 and another two, Dipen Sarkar and Nirmal Debrai of Rajagaon , Kochuwa on March 3. Based on their confessions, we conducted an operation on Friday night and recovered the gredes from the backyard of  Prasanta Biswas’ residence which were hidden underground,” said Yashobonto th,  Officer in-charge of Raha police station.
