Five teams formed to seize banned polythene bags

Dibrugarh, May 2: The district administration, as per its April 29 directives, has formed five special teams for prohibition of use of polythene bags in Dibrugarh town areas. These five teams would inspect the retail and wholesale business organizations and godowns for seizing the banned polythene bags. As per the directions, Revenue Circle Officer, (West), Shubham Gowala would carry out inspection in Convoy Road, Chowkidighee and Milan gar Market areas while Dibrugarh East Revenue Circle Officer , Dipu Deka would inspect the market areas of Tha Chariali, Amolapatty and Paltan Baazar. Likewise in New Market, Executive Magistrate Mirza Hussain would be inspecting the market areas, mainly Cole Road, Marwari Patty. Similarly, Executive Magistrate Himanshu Choudhury has been appointed for inspecting market areas of Chiring Chapori , Shantipara, Jhalukpara, and Executive Magistrate Tanvi Ahmed would be inspecting the markets of Gabhorupathar and Graham Bazaar.
