Flesh trade racket busted

TINSUKIA, May 9: Four  women were  arrested for allegedly running a sex racket from a house  at Jyoti gar area here today.

Acting on a complaint by Jyoti gar residents of suspicious activities going on in the house of one Manjur Ali Laskar , police raided the premises and arrested four women. Following the raid four women were arrested and booked under relevant sections of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, sources said. During interrogation of the accused, it came to light that the flesh trade racket was being run by the wife of Manjur Ali Laskar. Another six women were arrested one month back on charges of their involvement in flesh trade.
