Focus NE, Telegraph advance in media cricket

GUWAHATI, Jan 22: Focus NE and Telegraph advanced into the next round of the T–20 Media Cricket tourment defeating G Plus and Ajir Dainik Batori by almost identical margin. Both the matches were one sided affair. Focus NE, on the first game of the day, thrashed G Plus by 10 wickets. Telegraph, in the second game, beat Ajir Dainik Batori by a huge margin of 9 wickets.

Brief score: 1st game– G Plus 116–7 (20 overs), Suraj Sarma 51, Arindom Choudhury 3–12, Focus NE 120–0 (11 overs), Mabendra Das 55 (no), Lakhyajit Gogoi 50 (no).  

2nd game–Ajir Dainik Batori 46 (12.2 overs) Mukut Das 4–7, Telegraph 47–1 (4.3 overs) Kaushav Baruah 19 (no).
