Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) Wants Fair Use Of Tag

GUWAHATI: Certain companies have been randomly using the words Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and these companies are asked to refrain from such nefarious activities. The FSSAI has stated that the regulations are aimed at establishing fairness in claims and advertisements of food products and make food businesses accountable for such claims /advertisements so as to protect consumer interests and cannot be used unfairly.
