Food Safety Officials Seize 106 Tea Packets in Vishal Mega Mart, Golaghat

Golaghat: Sensation prevailed in Golaghat on Friday following the recovery of a lizard-like reptile in tea packets of Golaghat Vishal Mega Mart. According to a report, a youth Arindom Gogoi of Golaghat bought a packet of tea from the Vishal Mega Mart situated at Golaghat town. When he reached home and opened the tea packet, he found some lizard-like reptiles and insects in the tea packet. He immediately informed the matter to the authority of Vishal Mega Mart. But they allegedly ignored it and did not give any interest to the matter.

Later, he filed a complaint before the Food Safety Office against the Vishal Mega Mart of Golaghat. On the basis of the complaint of Arindom Gogoi, a team of Food Safety Officials raided the Vishal Mega Mart and seized 106 packets Full Bloom brand tea packets.
