SHILLONG, Aug 29: On the occasion of tiol Sports Day a friendly football match was organized by the Border Security Force at Mawlai Sports Club ground on Monday.

In the friendly match between the BSF team of Meghalaya frontier and Rising Football Club Mawlai, BSF team won the match 3-1.

The tiol sport Day is celebrated on Monday to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of tiol Hockey legend Dhyan Chand. The event was attended by large crowd from Mawlai and BSF personnel.

S R Khan, Second-In-Command, BSF Meghalaya frontier in his address on the occasion, said, “Such event brings better understanding and co-existence between the masses and security force.”
