Football trial concludes

SHILLONG, April 25: The Rising FC Shillong, on Monday informed that they have successfully completed their football trial where more than 500 plus players had registered the team. The trail was held in Jawaharlal Stadium Complex, Polo ground.

The trial started on April 18 and concluded on Saturday in which more than 500 players had attended. With the help of tiol level selectors and local selectors the club had shortlisted 150 players for the second round which started from April 21 and the 3rd phase saw 70 players being called back for the 4th phase after which only 30 players were selected after rigorous sessions of games.

Sqn. Ldr. S.S. Hakim (Olympian) Chief Project Director SAI, 2017 U-17 World Cup, tiol Football Coach, FIFA (Intertiol) Referee was also present for the same.
