Former AASU leader passes away

GOLAGHAT, Jan 2: Former AASU leader and social worker Jugal Kalita breathed his last at a private hospital in Golaghat on Saturday evening. He was 47. Kalita was suffering from heart-related ailments. Jugal Kalita was an executive member of All Assam Students’ Union, organizing secretary of Golaghat District Students’ Union and was associated with various organizations. AASU assistant general secretary Monuwar Hussain, organizing secretary Raju Phukan,  president Dadul Bora and secretary Abhibartan Goswami of Golaghat District Students’ Union and   all members of Golaghat AASU and well-wishers have condoled his demise.
