Former ABSU worker passes away

Tezpur, June 15: ba Kamal Boro, former ABSU worker of Sonitpur district, died on Wednesday at a private nursing home. He was under treatment following multiple physical problems for the last few months. As his condition worsened he was admitted into a local nursing home here on Monday and then referred to a private hospital in Guwahati on Monday morning. However, he died on Wednesday morning. He was 43. bakamal Boro was assistant general secretary and speaker of Sonitpur District ABSU. Son of a renowned social worker and founder teacher of Jugal High School, Kak Chandra Boro, and an inhabitant of Thelamara-Ulubari area under Thelamara PS in Sonitpur district, Boro, besides working as an ABSU worker of Sonitpur district ABSU, was closely associated with various social organizations, including Ulubari Yubak Sangha. Before performing his last rites, he was paid last respects by various organizations and individuals including, ABSU, Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Axam Xahitya Xabha, Ulubari Yubak Sangha and Ulubari High and MV Schools.
