Former headmaster Bhim Bhadur Chetri passes away

DIBRUGARH, Dec 5: Former headmaster of Barbari Railway Middle English (ME) School and noted social activist, Bhim Bhadur Chetri passed away on Saturday at Assam Medical College and Hospital after a prolonged illness. The 65-year old Chetri is survived by a son, a daughter, besides his wife Kokila Chetri, who is also assistant teacher in Barbari Railway ME School, and a host of relatives and admirers. His death was widely condoled by several organizations including Dibrugarh Zila Madhya Engraji Teachers’ Association, Niz Monkotta Khania Gaon Sakha Xahitya Xabha, Dibrugarh Zila Nepali Xahitya Xabha, teachers and students of Barbari Railway MESchool and Khania Gaon Mohila Xamity  mghar maging committee A condolence meeting was held today with former head master of ndeswar Chakraborty High School, Cheban Prasad Sharma in the chair. A number of leading citizens and teachers paid their rich tribute to Bhim Bahadur Chetri and conveyed their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
