Former President of the Sivasagar District Xahitya Xabha Ramraja Singha Remembered

JOYSAGAR: Famous litterateur and former president of the Sivasagar District Xahitya Xabha, Ramraja Singha was remembered on his 101st anniversary recently by the Rangpur Xahitya Xabha. To mark the occasion, a meeting was held in Sivasagar town. Eminent poet Prem Gogoi presided over the meeting where Dibrugarh University Professor Dr Jayanta Bora delivered the key speech. The meeting was attended by District Xahitya Xabha president Dr. Dilip Buragohain, Dibrugarh University professor Dr. Kamaleshwar Dutta and other dignitaries. Ramraja Singha started his literary journey in the Ramdhenu era during the British rule in Assam.
