Former Ranji cricketer dead

GUWAHATI, Feb 5: Former Ranji Cricketer captain Munindra Prasad Sarma passed away at Jorhat on Saturday. He was 82 years old and left behind wife and two daughters. Sarma was associated with many sports organizations. Apart from representing Assam in Ranji Trophy, Sarma was also served as the selector of junior committee in ACA. Veteran Cricket Association of Assam had condoled the death.
