Foundation day of Debabrat Bhuyan College observed

Gohpur, Aug 30: Debabrat Bhuyan College and Debabrat Bhuyan Junior College observed annual foundation day and Freshers’ Social 2017 on Monday at the college premises.

The flag hoisting was done by Dr. Biren Bhuyan, Principal of Debabrat Bhuyan College. Pratap Goswami, president of college maging committee, lit the ceremonial lamp. Wall magazine Darpan and Kathamalika were unveiled by social activist gen Sarma and Rector of the college, Dr. Minoti Choudhury.

An open session was organized which was presided over by Pradip Dutta, Principal of Debabrat Bhuyan Junior College. Dr. Anjan Kr Ozah, Principal of Chaiduar College, was present in the meeting and delivered speech. Students of the college and junior college performed songs and dances. In the evening, the college authority concluded the programme by lighting 100 ceremonial lamps in college premises.
