Foundation day of Vigyanda Yogashram

MANGALDAI, December 27:  Vigyanda Yogashram, a premier yoga training institution of Darrang district, observed its foundation day here recently. The day-long function began with the unfurling of the organizatiol flag by its founder president Yoga-Guru Hiranya Garbhadeb followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by eminent industrialist Mukul Chandra Deka of SRD Group of Companies. The celebration also featured yoga demonstration by the students of the institution, interaction among the present and former students along with the people present and the open meeting, among others. Darrang Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar, former president of Darrang Zila Xahitya Xabha, Dr Amarendra rayan Deb, senior physician Dr Prashanta Goswami, Arup Bora of Vivekanda Kendra in Mangaldai and Director of Mangaldai Maharishi Vidya Mandir Kamal Kishore Agarwala attended the open meeting as the invited guests.
