Foundation stone laid

 TINSUKIA, Oct 3: Tinsukia MLA RP Singh today laid the foundation stone of Tinsukia-Bordubi road here. An amount of Rs 9, 98, 21000 has been sanctioned for construction of the road under NLCPR scheme. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Singh said that the state government has initiated various developmental activities and different schemes have been launched for the welfare of the people of the State. Singh in his speech called upon the PWD to complete the work on a stipulated time. The programme was also attended by Tinsukia Zila Parishad Chairperson Mira Singh, former chairman of Tinsukia civic body Subhasish Bhattacharjee besides PWD officials.
