Foundation stone laid

BOKO, May 6: Foundation stone for renovation of Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Auditorium was laid by Boko constituency MLA Nandita Das at Boko on Saturday. Initially the foundation stone was laid by Dr. Bhupen Hazarika in the year 1976, but due to unavoidable reasons it could not  be completed till date. After 40 years, Nandita Das allotted Rs 50 lakh (Rs 25 lakh from MLA fund and Rs 25 lakh from CM fund) for the renovation of this auditorium. MLA Nandita Das said it would be the biggest auditorium in South Kamrup. On this occasion, a public meeting was also held.
