Golaghat , Feb 20: The foundation stone of the new building of Golaghat Judiciary was laid on Saturday in Golaghat. A ceremony was held in the occasion where the foundation stone was laid by Justice Hrishikesh Roy, acting judge in charge of Administrative Department of Gauhati High Court, in the presence of Justice CR Sharma, Portfolio Judge for Golaghat district and Minister for PWD, Law and Legislative Department, Ajanta Neog. Golaghat District Judge Robin Phukan, Deputy Commissioner Arul Haque , Superintendent of Police, Prithipal Singh, president of Golaghat Bar Association MN Dutta and several other distinguished guests were present. Minister Ajanta Neog spoke about her career as a lawyer and said that the Golaghat Bar Association and its lawyers had made great contribution in the social and cultural fields of the district.
