Four dacoits arrested

Tinsukia, July 30: Tinsukia Police arrested four dacoits from Tinsukia on Wednesday night. They  have been identified as Amar Tanti (19), Rahul Saikia (22), Raj Chetry (21)  and Siva Baisvi (23). Police sources said that the apprehended dacoits were allegedly involved in the killing of 60-year old chowkidar Jogendra Prasad of Modi market in the heart of the town and looting four shops of the market on Monday night. The police are still trying to get hold of the fifth dacoit.
