Four robbers held with arms in Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON, May 13: Following information, Bongaigaon district police bbed four ‘Dacoit’ last night from Hatimutra area of Bongaigaon. Talking to the press Dulal Kalita, OC, Bongaigaon PS said that police had received information about these four “dacoit’s from their source in the evening of 12 May. “The police immediately moved to the Hatimutra area in civil dress and arrested the four dacoits there.

The four bbed person were identified as Mofidul Islam and Ismail Ali resident of Kharupetiya area of Darrang district, Sahidul Islam alias siruddin, a resident of Gauripur area of Dhubri district and Mizanur Rahman, resident of South Salmara area,” Kalita said.

One 7.65 mm Pistol, two 9 mm pistol, one magazine of 7.65 mm pistol, one magazine of M20 pistol, three mobile handset, voter ID card, PAN card, Driving license, and four hundred Rupees were recovered from them. The operation was led by Imdad Ali, Additiol SP, Bongaigaon Police.
