JOYSAGAR, April 9: A free eye care camp was held in zira town on Sunday. The free eye camp was organized by the Lions Club of zira with the help of the Sivasagar district Health Department (under the tiol Blindness Protection Programme, RHCM) where about 150 patients were examined by the doctors, among which altogether 17 persons were benefited with free optical glasses from the Lions Club. The eye camp was formally iugurated by zira SDO Rajib Thapa while Sivasagar District Joint Director of Health Services, Dr. Ripunjit Borpujari attended the camp as the chief guest.
