Free gynaecology check-up camp held in Silchar

Silchar: Under the six areas of focus within the area of disease prevention and treatment, Rotary Club of Green Land Silchar organized a free gynaecology check-up camp in the Kalibari Char slum area, for underprivileged women here.

This is a part of their permanent project which has been started in this Rotary Year 2018-19. The programme was held at Sanjay Gandhi LP School. Renowned gynaecologist of the town, Dr Aloka Banerjee, examined 38 patients and prescribed them. Free medicines were also distributed among the patients.
