Free health camp held

MARGHERITA, February 8: Yog Vidya Pitham, an NGO of Margherita, organized a free medical health camp at Chandrapur LP School Jagun under Margherita subdivision on Sunday.

The camp began with the lighting of lamp by Tukheswar Gogoi, Headmaster of Chandrapur LP School Jagun. All the present guests were welcomed with a gamosa by the organizer.

Manju Dey, chief advisor of Yog Vidya Pitham, said that a large number of people cannot afford to go to multi-specialty hospitals. But if people practice yoga then they can get cured of many health problems.

Doctors from Central Hospital Coal India Ltd Margherita such as Dr Manobrato Gogoi, Dr Mousami Gogoi and Dr Swarup Das and Dr Salix Alam from Jagun Public Health Centre were present at the camp. More than 400 patients from Jagun area came and got good treatment, including free medicines, at the camp.
